In Re: IRMO Feldman
Mr. Altstadt was the Court appointed third party appraiser in a marital dissolution matter involving a major real estate developer in San Diego, California. The project involved two years of work analyzing and appraising the operations of the developer’s business. This business included several commercial real estate properties, raw land, residential real estate, a marina, a golf course and eight automotive franchises in California and Mexico. Of the 17 properties and businesses appraised, the Court and the parties stipulated to Mr. Altstadt’s value in 14 cases. Mr. Altstadt testified in San Diego County Family Court.
ECCO Equipment Corp v. Central Valley Construction, Inc.
Mr. Altstadt represented the plaintiff in a breach of contract matter relating to claims made by a subcontractor against the contractor in a federal public works project. Mr. Altstadt provided a Rule 26 report in federal court.
In Re: Vanguard University
Mr. Altstadt was contracted by the University to conduct a forensic audit of certain financial transactions as a part of the reaccreditation of the University by the Western Association of States and Colleges. Mr. Altstadt prepared a report and presented it to the Board of Trustees.
College Park Motors, Inc. v. Volkswagen of America, Inc.
Mr. Altstadt testified on behalf the plaintiff before the Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings in a franchise termination matter involving a Volkswagen dealership in College Park, Maryland. Our analysis included critiquing the C.S.I. and sales analysis prepared by the experts for Volkswagen.
Pacific National Development v. Brakke-Shafnitz
Mr. Altstadt represented the plaintiff in a breach of contract matter involving failure to pay on a business interruption insurance claim related to a company that coordinated tax credit low income housing developments.
In Re: Carl Burger Estate
Mr. Altstadt provided a written valuation report of the Chrysler Jeep and Dodge franchises in La Mesa, California, along with the land ownership for estate tax purposes.
Edwards Lifesciences v. Corevalve
Mr. Altstadt provide consulting services to the defendant in this patent infringement matter. Services included complete evaluation of discovery provided by plaintiff and preliminary evalution of damage claims by plaintiff.

Mr. Altstadt provide consulting services to the plaintiff in a misappropriation of trade secrets matter. Services included evalution of damage claims by plaintiff related to the development of photographic systems for the film "Avatar".

Mr. Altstadt testified on behalf of the claimant in a AAA Arbitration in a franchise reinstatement matter involving the Chevrolet dealership in Fullerton, California. Services included analysis of the finances and operations of the dealership under criteria established by Congress.
